Our take
The Predator X38 is a beast. The 3840x1600 resolution gives you plenty of screen real estate, and the 175Hz refresh rate is incredibly smooth. G-SYNC eliminates tearing, and the IPS panel has vibrant colors. HDR 400 is basic, but it's better than nothing. However, the price is steep, and the 16:9 aspect ratio means it's not ultrawide. The stand is large and takes up desk space. If you have the budget and a powerful GPU, this monitor delivers a top-tier gaming experience.
